British Bloggers...test, test, test

I wanted to share these blogs 'cause I think they're a treasure trove and there aren't enough UK blogs around; in fact given the population figures, I think the UK is extremely under represented. So I must apologize for just jumping in but we have a voice; journalists, authors, artists, statisticians, politicians and business people go to blogs to get the groundswell of public opinion. Bloggers are the major democratic voice of the free Internet! OK,OK... I'm climbing off the soapbox now, sorry...

The CL story; I'm ashamed to admit this but I am a quitter! There, you have it! I started the CL blog late (only found out about it end of February) and thought I'd give it a try. Maybe it's me but I spent hours on the site trying to upload my post, and pictures and then spent hours trying to get around to everyone to see who had posted. When it came to commenting on comments, I can't count the number of times I got the 'This Web Page is Not Responding' message and never managed to respond in kind and then had to fight to find the time to get back to try again - I sort of over extended myself.

As for my CL blog name, I don't get many flashes of inspiration and I used the same title for the blog (Sunshine & Shadow) not realising that it didn't work like Blogger and went by my name and not the blog title. After three and a half weeks of doing a half-baked job on both blogs and completely neglecting all the other things I had going on, I just stopped. My obligations caught up with me and by the time the crisis was sorted...the exodus had occurred. Thankfully someone had posted the link to Purple Coo on their CL blog along with a farewell and I wasted no time to skedaddle over and check it all out!
